Pregnant actress Christina Applegate is not sure how her dog will take to her imminent new baby. 

Christina is expecting her first child with musician fiancé Martyn Lenoble. At the premiere of “Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore” Christina told OK! Magazine “I am worried about my dog. I think she is going to have problems.”

Tallulah – a Dachshund/Chihuahua cross – is devoted to Christina: “She is attached to me and at the house there is never a moment that she isn’t next to me, so I will have to be careful when the baby comes.”

Christina is best known for her role as Kelly Bundy in the long-running nineties sitcom “Married… With Children”. She enjoyed working with her canine co-star on the show, Buck Bundy: "He was wonderful… just a big, sweet creature. He would just hang out lying on the couch, getting unbelievable amounts of love from a cast of six that just fawned over him all day long."

Christina has always loved animals – growing up, her family home was “like a zoo”. It was as a teenager on the set of “Married… With Children” that she decided to become a vegetarian  – she was eating lunch one day when she realised “I can’t eat something that has been alive. So I stopped, and that was it. That was the last time.”

Christina has even worked with PETA in the past to produce a Christmas card with an anti-fur message. The card shows pretty Christina wearing just a pair of gloves, and reads “Fur: get me not!”

Despite being an admirably active animal-lover, it is clear Christina is not blind to the disadvantages of being a dog-owner: “Everything I have has dog hair on it, and that’s just the way it is!”
